"This beautiful book has been a favorite in our home since the day we received it. Ayomide and Seyi's Kitchen is not just an ABC book—it’s a joyful, curiosity-sparking journey through the world of plant-based foods. Narrated with charm and wonder by six-year-old Ayomide, and sweetly accompanied by his little sister Seyi, the story invites children to explore new foods, learn fascinating facts, and feel excited about cooking and eating together as a family. The illustrations are vibrant and engaging, and the cultural diversity of the foods featured makes this book a celebration of global flavors and healthy living. My kids were immediately drawn in—and I love that it encourages creativity and connection in the kitchen. A true gem for any family looking to nurture a love of nutritious foods, cultural exploration, and joyful reading."
“Dr. Margaret has created a fun, engaging book that brings food and literacy together. Kids and adults can follow along as fun foods and nutritional tidbits are shared with each letter- and by the end of the book be inspired to go and try a few new foods! Her reading of the story brings in kids with call and response and everyone gets to add in their favorite fruits or veggies to the conversation. Not only does she educate about healthy eating, but also reflects cultural dishes, language learning and expanding palates for families in fun ways. A great community program!"

"Dr. Towolawi’s presentation that helped me continue with my own research. In her warm manner, she was very open and direct about the impact of these hormone changes on your life- symptoms I was personally experiencing. I immediately felt trust with Dr. Towolawi, so I decided to become a patient!"
